Professional Development diagnostic tool for BCE – new version now available

The Professional Development Diagnostic Tool for BCE is an online tool for engagement professionals to help you and your team assess your knowledge, evaluate your skills and find relevant resources.

The resource is also valuable for HR teams, researcher development programmes and any staff in education and research who have new collaborative and enterprising aspects to their roles.

Jisc has developed a new version of the tool which is now available. New features have been added to the resource as a result of feedback from users since its launch in October 2012.

The new features you will find include:

• The ability to save multiple snapshots of your diagnosis results for reference to aid development and benchmarking, appraisals and career planning
• Printer-friendly diagnosis results, and the ability to send results to an e-mail address which can be shared with colleagues, team members or your manager
• Increased security to protect your data, plus simplified login and password retrieval
• Filter function to allow only free resources to be displayed

Take a look at the changes now at http://www.netskills.ac.uk/bcecpd2 – if you’re new to the site you can look around without registering. To complete your self-diagnosis, registration is required but only takes a minute or two. If you have not visited recently, why not take the opportunity to try the new features on the site and update your diagnosis?

The Professional Development Diagnostic Tool for Business and Community Engagement is a national resource, free of charge, developed through extensive collaboration led by AURIL and Jisc.
